BRENHAM ISD SPECIAL OLYMPICS AT REGIONAL BOWLING COMPETITION

This past Friday, the Brenham ISD Special Olympics Team traveled to College Station for the Regional Bowling Competition. There were over 700 bowlers registered for the event.

The Brenham team brought home two gold medals, two silver medals, and two bronze medals to go along with two 4th place finishes, and one 7th place finish.

For Brenham High School, Christian Mansolo won a Gold, Aaliyah Powell took home a Silver, LeAnna Cook captured the Bronze. Meanwhile, Jing Ginnard came in fourth and Nai Ginnard finished in seventh.

For Brenham Junior High School, Trenton Lampe won a Gold, and Grider Cienega captured the Silver.

For Brenham Middle School, Max Wheaton took home the Bronze, and for Krause Elementary School, Langston Snow finished in fourth.

Next up, the Special Olympics Team will compete in a Basketball Individual Skills competition against Sealy on Saturday, January 31 in the ECLC gym.
