ANOTHER ELECTRIC OUTAGE EAST OF BRENHAM

  

Update: Power was restored to the area by Bluebonnet crews at 3:20 Thursday afternoon. According to the Electric Coop, crews were unable to find the exact cause of the outage, but will continue to investigate to prevent further outages.

Original story: Bluebonnet Electric Coop is reporting an outage east of Brenham Thursday afternoon. The outage is affecting around 1600 customers and began just before 2:00 pm. The outage area includes all of Chappell Hill. Power was lost to about 3500 Bluebonnet customers Tuesday afternoon for about an hour. That outage was caused by a faulty circuit breaker at a substation that serves eastern Washington County. More information when it becomes available.
