CORONAVIRUS CASE REPORTED AT LOCAL H-E-B

The Brenham H-E-B Store has confirmed, an employee has tested positive for COVID-19, after being inside the store on July first.

According to a company statement, all directly affected personnel at the local store have been notified and the facility has been deep cleaned and sanitized multiple times since.

All H-E-B locations throughout the state are requiring a mask for facial covering to be worn by customers and workers inside the store since the beginning of the month.  Children and customers with health-related issues are exempted.

Officials with the grocery chain say they will continue to promote proper social distancing with the use of floor stickers and sneeze guards at registers, proper hand washing, and strict sanitation throughout the store.

Shoppers are encouraged to use the company’s curbside pickup and delivery options instead of entering the store when possible. Seniors (60+) can also use the H-E-B and Favor Senior Support Line to order groceries and other essential items with contact-less delivery.
