DRIVER INJURED AS CAR STRIKES HOME IN BRENHAM

  

The Brenham Fire Department was called out to a one-vehicle accident on Tuesday.

Just after 5:15 p.m., BFD responded to the 700 block of West Jefferson Street, to reports of a one-vehicle accident with fluids in the roadway.

Fire units arrived to find a vehicle that had crashed into the side of a house in the garage area.  BFD reports no one was in the garage at the time of the impact.

The car was removed, and the house was stabilized until repairs could be completed.  According to BFD Lieutenant Jerred Eschete, the repairs are expected to be completed today (Wednesday).

The people in the car were taken to the hospital to be evaluated.  No word has been given on the extent of their injuries.
