HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED LOCALLY ON WARRANT
A Houston man has been arrested after a traffic stop in Brenham.
Early Wednesday morning, Cpl. David Dudenhoeffer conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of S. Day St.
As the vehicle came to a stop, the driver, 30-year old Leonard Curtis Crawford, fled on foot.
After a short pursuit, Dudenhoeffer was able to catch Crawford.
Dispatch confirmed Crawford had an active warrant for his arrest—issued by Pardons and Paroles.
In addition to the warrant, Crawford is now charged with evading arrest.
