SOMERVILLE WINS GOVERNOR’S AWARD

  

Somerville has received the Governor’s Community Achievement Award for outstanding community improvement from Keep Texas Beautiful.

The award recognizes environmental and community improvement in Texas.

Somerville City Administrator Marty Mangum says the city is honored to be one of only recipients of the award.

Mangum says the big winners are the citizens of Somerville who he says will “reap the benefits of the park development, the revitalized library, the Adopt-a-Spot and litter clean-up project for years to come.
