FERAL HOG SEMINAR TUESDAY APRIL 21st

  

Feral Hog smallThe Washington County Beef and Forage Committee along with Citizens State Bank will be sponsoring a Feral Hog Seminar and Trapping Demonstration on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the Washington County Fairgrounds Sales Facility in Brenham.  Feral hogs are not only a problem in Washington County, but all across Texas.  The seminar is designed the help landowners develop management strategies to combat the expanding populations.

Jacob Hetzel, Wildlife Damage Biologist with USDA will share the latest on laws and regulations related to feral hog bating, trapping, and transporting.  In addition to the inside session , Allen Wickel, a local Feral Hog Trapper, will provide an outside trap demonstration with opportunities for landowners to ask questions and see several traps on display.
