HUNDREDS COME OUT FOR ANNUAL BAYLOR SCOTT AND WHITE SENIOR DAY

The Fireman’s Training Center was packed with hundreds of senior citizens today (Wednesday), for Baylor Scott and White’s 22nd Annual Senior Day.

Dozens of area health vendors, organizations and businesses set up at the Training Center, offering seniors information and free health screenings.

Seniors participated in tests for hand strength, balance, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry.  They also had the chance to pick up a paddle for some pickleball games.

The Faithful Friends Band, Lete Phillips Dance Troupe and Sizzling Seniors Dancers provided entertainment, while Clarence Gerke provided his iconic chicken noodle soup lunch.
