“DIAMOND” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK

The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has again named “Diamond” as its Pet of the Week.

Diamond is a Terrier mix, about one year old.  Brenham Animal Services staff say Diamond is a very loving girl and full of energy.  She is current on vetting and walks well on a leash, but will need to brush up on her basic commands.

Staff say Diamond would do great in an active home or one with plenty of room to run.  She would also mesh well in a home with older children.

Each Saturday in August, the Brenham Pet Adoption Center will waive adoption fees as part of the annual “Clear the Shelters” adoption event.

Before coming to the shelter, adopters are encouraged to visit Brenham Animal Services’ online Pet Finder page to choose a pet they are interested in.  They can also make an appointment by visiting the Brenham Animal Services Facebook page, or by calling 979-337-7351.  Appointments are being taken Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Anyone looking to support the Brenham Pet Adoption Center can donate to the Clear the Shelters Fund by visiting GreaterGood.org.
