A $3.5 million permit was issued to Arch-Con Corporation, the contractor for Baker Katz.  The permit was issued for the construction of a multi-tenant retail building shell.

The site of the project, located on 35 acres of land at the intersection of Highway 290 and Chappell Hill Street, stood still for several months due to COVID-19 related delays, but work resumed this winter.  The first stores in the shopping center are anticipated to open in the spring of 2022.

A total of 18 permits were issued in February for $4,850,929.  Last February, the city issued 32 permits worth $3,341,781.
