DEL SOL FOOD CO. ACQUIRES JOHN WM. MACY’S BAKERY
Del Sol Food Company Inc., producer of BRIANNAS Fine Salad Dressings in Brenham, has acquired New Jersey-based bakery John Wm. Macy’s.
The bakery makes baked cheese sticks, cheese crisps and crostinis. It distributes its products throughout the United States and Canada.

In a press release announcing the acquisition, Del Sol Food Company President and CEO Scott Eckert said the philosophy of the two companies is very similar and believes they will “enjoy great synergy” working together in the future.
John Macy, President of John Wm. Macy’s, said the bakery has been thrilled to provide its products to a growing audience and that this partnership “will enable the company to follow this passion for years to come.”
Del Sol Food Company was represented by GulfStar Group as its exclusive financial advisor throughout the transaction.
John Wm. Macy’s will continue operations in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.
