This year’s theme for the event, taking place from 6 to 8 p.m., will let participants wear their gameday gear and bring out all of their best tailgate options in support of their favorite sports teams while getting out and meeting their neighbors.

Some of the block parties and gatherings scheduled around the region include at the Blinn-Brenham Campus Student Center, Salem Lutheran Church in Brenham, the Rocky Creek Volunteer Fire Station near Lake Somerville, the Oliver Whitener – Roy Winkler Pavilion in Burton, the Latium Volunteer Fire Department, the Prairie Hill – Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department, the Carmine Fire Station, Somerville City Hall, the Bellville Police Department and Veteran’s Park in Giddings.

KWHI and KTEX-106 will travel to area parties throughout the evening.  If you would like us to stop by, call our office at 979-836-3655.
