LOCAL OFFICES TO CLOSE FOR VETERANS DAY
Offices in Washington County will be closed next Friday, November 10th in observance of Veterans Day.
The office closures will include Brenham City Hall, Brenham Municipal Court, Brenham Animal Services, the Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library. All Washington County offices will also be closed.
Brenham Animal Services will reopen for normal hours on Saturday, November 11th, but the aquatic center and library will remain closed.
The Brenham Washington County Visitor Center will have hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 10th and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 11th.
The Collection/Transfer and Recycling Station will maintain regular hours through the holiday, and residential and commercial trash pick-up will operate normally.
The offices of Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative will be closed on November 10th, as well. Bluebonnet members can access their account information and make payments while offices are closed by going to www.bluebonnet.coop, using the co-op’s mobile app or calling 800-842-7708. Power outages can be reported through the website, mobile app, by calling 800-949-4414 or texting OUT to 85700 through Bluebonnet’s Outage Alerts program.
