WASHINGTON CO. 4-H EXTENSION AGENT CHARLES SEELY ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION

Charles Seely

Washington County 4-H Extension Agent Charles Seely has announced his resignation.

Seely made the announcement today (Thursday), after just under six years in the position.

Seely, who grew up in Bellville, said the job was very demanding, and he wanted to make sure he had enough time to spend with his family.

Seely has accepted a position with the Somerville branch of Citizens State Bank.  He said there has not been a timeline established to find a new candidate for the Extension Agency position, nor has a candidate been identified, but he expects that will come within the next few months.

Seely said it has been an honor and a privilege to serve the Washington County community, and that he will cherish the memories he has made.

Seely’s last day as Extension Agent will be August 2nd, and his duties will conclude at the Washington County 4-H Family Night Awards Banquet.  He extends an invitation to the community to come out and celebrate the youth of 4-H in the county.
