BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT

  

On Monday around 1:00pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to FM 50 at Roxie Ln for a motor vehicle crash with possible water rescue needed.

While en route, BFD was canceled by units on location because all victims were out of the vehicle.

Also on Monday, around 7:30pm, the Brenham Fire Department responded to Independence St. at Williams St. for a motor vehicle crash with a tree on fire.

Upon arrival and after investigation, BFD found that a utility pole was damage during the crash causing the power lines to start a fire in a nearby tree.

BFD stood by until the electric department secured the power line and the fire was extinguished.
