BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHES GRASS FIRE

  

The Brenham Fire Department extinguished a grass fire on Friday.

At 4:30 p.m., the Brenham Fire Department responded to 2900 Karen Lane and found approximately one acre on fire. According to the land owner, he was burning brush when it got out of hand. Brenham Fire Department extinguished the fire without incident. The land owner also asked the BFD to put out the burn pile that started the grass fire.

After extinguishing the fire, the area was then mopped up to make sure all the hot spots were extinguished.
