BRENHAM POLICE MAKE DRUG POSSESSION ARREST

  

A Houston man faces drug possession charges after his arrest Monday night in Brenham.

Brenham Police Officer Hunter Andras conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South Day and West Val Verde streets.

The driver, identified as 19-year old Stephen Cole Calvert of Houston, reportedly appeared nervous and was sweating heavily.

Andras reports that Calvert admitted to having alcohol in his vehicle and was under aged.  He also said he had drug paraphernalia in his pocket.

During a search, Andras found five amphetamine pills.

Calvert was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail for possession of a controlled substance. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol.

  1. What is WRONG tih these young people, they are suppose to be OUR leaders of tomorrow! This is just sickening, no wonder America is becoming what it is….

    1. nothing is wrong with young people. there are people in every field of work and walk of life that have had substance abuse problems. do not judge this kid for one mistake. this moment doesn’t define his life
