BUILDING PERMITS SLOW FOR THE MONTH OF MAY

  

 Building permits for the month of May were way down from April, with the May permits only  totaling $450,000, down from April’s total of $4, 101,145.

There were no large project permits requested during May, as there were in previous months, such as a permit for the renovation of the Nancy Carol Robert library.

During the month of May, 31 permits were issued, the largest being issued to Bat Tab Management for a tenant build out for a Marine office totaling $100,000.

There were two permits issued for new manufactured homes. So far this year, there has been a total of $16,528,759 worth of permits issued for 2015.
