COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HAVE SHORT AGENDA FOR TUESDAY
Washington County Commissioners have a short agenda for their meeting next week. Commissioners will hear an update from the County A&M Agrilife Extension Service. They will also observe a demonstration of the new Office of Emergency Management Software Program during a scheduled workshop session.
Also on the agenda are two proclamations. Commissioners are expected to proclaim April as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month in Washington County. They will also proclaim April 9th through the 13th as Boys and Girls Club Week.
Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9:00 AM at Courthouse in Brenham.

A group of county residents requested to address the Commissioner’s Meeting on Tuesday and were told they would not be added to the agenda. This is a concern especially since this news report is stating that they have a short agenda.
This is alarming. We can only hope that when someone from Chappell Hill takes over as judge these types of things will stop and our county voices will be heard loudly.
