The Brenham Evening Lions Club have installed new officers for the coming year.

Washington County Ladies Lions Club members installed were LaVerne Krumrey- President, Pat Lueckemeyer- first Vice President, Debra Leroy Russell- tail twister.

For 40 years, the Brenham Evening Lions Club has been holding an annual Installation of officers.  This ceremony began on the first day of Jo Al Picone serving as District Director, and the first installation and banquet was held in 1975  at Willie's Steak house with a full banquet room.

This tradition continued this week when local Lions Clubs met at the Cannery in downtown Brenham to be installed.  Picone, Past International Director, introduced current District 2S5  Director Jim Fox who conducted the installation service.
