MIDDLE AND JR HIGH MISSION POSSIBLE GROUPS WIN AWARDS

  

Two groups of students from Brenham ISD came home with awards recently from The New Worlds Institute Competition in Austin.

The Brenham Junior High and Brenham Middle School Mission Possible groups were among over 700 students from around the world who gathered for The New Worlds Institute Competition. The one day educational event bills itself as where imagination and creativity meet science and engineering to showcase the next generation’s ideas for the cities of tomorrow on the worlds of the frontier. The BISD teams took 1st place in the video category and 2nd place in 3D model. The teams are led by teachers Suzette Evans, Emily Lawhorn, and Kassey Nix.
