NAVASOTA ISD TO HOST CANDIDATE FORUM

  

The Navasota ISD board will host a candidate’s forum for the Place 6 and Place 7 elections on Thursday, April 16, at the Navasota City Hall.

There will be a brief introduction at 6:00 pm, and then the candidates will begin a moderated question-and-answer session. They will then break for five minutes, then the Place 7 candidates will go through the same process, continuing until approximately 7:20pm.

All six candidates will then give a brief statement to close out the session, and will then be available to answer questions from the public.

Place 6 candidates are, in alphabetical order, Marilyn Bettes, Mark McGinty and Greg Mock, and the Place 7 candidates in alphabetical order, are Jennifer Fultz, Danny Kniffin and Jennifer Ramirez.

Candidates will check in with the moderator at 5:45pm.

The question were provided by the audience from the council chambers.

Early voting runs from April 27 through May 5, and Election Day is Saturday, May 9.
