The Texas DPS Crime Lab confirmed that DNA evidence left at the burglary of three storage units at A-All Sorts Storage on Highway 36 South, belongs to 28-year old Robert Ray Weiser.

Weiser is currently serving a prison term in the Hamilton Prison Unit in Bryan on drug-related offenses.

Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak says Investigator Mark Whidden interviewed Weiser, who confessed to the break-ins that occurred October 9th of 2013.

Weiser, however, was not able to provide Whidden with the location of any of the property taken in the burglaries.

Hanak says the case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
