CUB STADIUM HOSTING BLOCK PARTY, FITNESS WALK SATURDAY
Cub Stadium will be full of fun and fitness tomorrow (Saturday), for Brenham ISD’s Block Party and Fitness Walk.
All students, staff, and community members are invited out to the stadium from 11 to 1 p.m. for free music, food, games, and other activities.
Pre-K through 6th grade students who complete four laps around the track will get Blue Bell Ice Cream and a Whataburger coupon, along with a medal. Booths from each of the Brenham ISD campuses will be at the stadium, and free Whataburger hamburgers will be served.
The family event is designed to celebrate the first public school district in Texas, and to help elementary students gain awareness of the importance of daily exercise.
KWHI and KTEX-106 will have Holly Ryder on hand, broadcasting live at Cub Stadium in the friendly country cruiser
