BCYLA TO HOST RECOVERY PREMIUM ONLINE SALE

Following the cancellation of the Brazos County Youth Livestock Show, the Brazos County Youth Livestock Association (BCYLA) is establishing an online recovery sale for exhibitors.

According to the BCYLA, over 300 Brazos County 4-H and FFA youth were affected by the cancellation of the livestock show, so the BCYLA COVID-19 Recovery Premium Online Sale will be used to help exhibitors recoup funds for their work with their projects.

Eligible exhibitors will be able to sell one animal, ag mechanics, or FCS project only as one lot in the online premium auction.  As this is a premium sale, the buyer will not receive the project.  The Silver Spurs Buyers Group has set the starting bid on each lot in the sale, so all exhibitors are guaranteed the starting bid.

The premium sale will be hosted on Coleman and Patterson Auctioneers’ website for 60 hours, going live at 8 a.m. on Saturday and ending at 8 p.m. on Monday.
