BRENHAM P.D. NAMES NEW COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER

The Brenham Police Department has initiated the new position of Community Relations Officer.
Veteran Officer Marley Mayo will serve in the new role. She has been a member off department’s patrol division for 2 1/2 years.
According to the department, Mayo will provide direct contact to citizens when dealing with neighborhood concerns and complaints.
She will utilize criminal codes, zoning laws, and other resources; and will also work closely with other departments, agencies and assets such as Planning and Zoning, MHMR, County and State agencies, and others to provide long lasting solutions to citizen concerns.
Patrol officers will refer citizens of this community to Officer Mayo in appropriate situations. She will also provide assistance in Community Outreach, Administrative, SRO and other duties when necessary.
