CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND FAITH MISSION TO HELP DISPLACED WORKERS

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a job fair today at Brenham High School, in an effort to assist the workers affected by recent layoffs in Brenham.

The Job Fair will be held at Brenham High School from 4:00-6:00pm, and job seekers can find out about current openings they may be qualified for.

This is the same day as the annual Career Fair at Brenham High School, where from 8:45am-11:40am high school students will learn about future career opportunities. Chamber members are also asked to list any job openings they have on line.

Randy Wells from Faith Mission, and Page Michel from the Washington County Chamber of Commerce tells of another way to help the displaced workers in this area.

For more information, contact the Chamber at (979) 836-3695.
