TWO ARRESTED IN LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP
Two people from Austin are in custody after a traffic stop late Thursday night.

Just after 10:00 pm, Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of US Hwy 290 West.

Investigation revealed the passenger, 33-year old Maranda Tahnee Caro, of Austin had an active warrant out of Austin for her arrest.
The driver, 60-year old Glenn Allen Marzett, also of Austin, was in possession of prescription pills.
Marzett was arrested and transported to jail on two counts of Possession of Dangerous Drug and Caro was arrested for her active warrant.
