VIDEO – CHAMPION DRIVE AT THE WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR
Over 30 special needs kids participated in the Champion Drive Livestock Show this (Friday) morning at the Fair. This is the third year that the show has been a part of the Washington County Fair. The participants in the show are paired with 4H or FFA volunteer buddies who help them show the animals. Each participant shows either a market barrow, a market goat or a rabbit. This year, event organizers raised over 15 thousand dollars from sponsors. Three of the buddy volunteers will be awarded with $750 college scholarships for helping with the program.
