COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS ROAD AND BRIDGE MOVE
Washington County Commissioners will once again discuss a new home for the county’s Road and Bridge Department, when they meet Wednesday morning.
A workshop discussion on a possible new facility, which would also serve as offices for the county’s rural addressing and environmental departments.
The county owns a tract of land on Highway 36 just north of the Brenham city limits.
The county paid just over $250,000 for the 21-and a half acres, which they have planned all along, to move the Road and Bridge Department from its current site on Blue Bell Road.
Also during Tuesday’s meeting, Commissioners will:
Canvassing local results from last Tuesday’s constitutional amendment election.
And hear the fourth quarter report from the Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Washington County Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
