19-year-old Jenise Benjamin was arrested by Brenham police around 3 a.m. this (Friday) morning, charged with Minor in Possession of Alcohol, a Class C misdemeanor.
According to a release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Benjamin became violent toward jail staff during the booking process. At around 5:30 a.m., she reportedly struck one corrections officer in the face, while spitting on another.
