DPS Sergeant Alease Wilson said crews have restored services for most that were affected, but there are still over 250 people that lack landline or internet access.

Tuesday morning, an oilfield tanker truck demolished the AT&T building after running off Highway 36 North near the Oak Hill Acres neighborhood.  The single-vehicle accident disrupted services to the area, from the neighborhood headed north towards Somerville.

Sgt. Wilson said crews have run into some technical issues, but they hope to have services up and running for all those affected by this (Wednesday) evening.
