DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR BLINN BOARD VACANCY FRIDAY
Today (Friday) is the deadline to submit applications for the vacant Blinn board position.
Applications for the Precinct 4 board position must be turned in by 5 p.m. this afternoon.
Anyone interested in the position can visit Room 317 of the Brenham Campus Administration Building, and receive an application from Laurie Clark, Special Assistant to the Board of Trustees and Chancellor. Applicant packets should include a résumé and a cover letter.
In order to qualify for the position, applicants need to live in Washington County Precinct 4, be a U.S. citizen 18 or older with no convictions, and be registered to vote in the county.
The former Precinct 4 trustee, Stacy Aschenbeck, resigned on September 21st. Upon her resignation, she said she wanted to spend more time with her family.
The board will consider all applications, and will choose an appointee at a future meeting.
