Pastor Johnnie Williams will be signing copies of his new book How the Devil Works Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham, on 314 East Alamo Street.  The book signing is being hosted by Reverend Randy Wells.

Williams says his book looks to give readers and believers basic knowledge of mankind’s greatest enemy, and offers teachings from the Bible about life on earth.

Williams has been the pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in the Quarry community of Somerville for 56 years.  He has also served in jail ministry and the Washington County Ministerial Association, and is a member of the Bread Partners.

Williams’ work in and around the Brenham area has earned him the nicknames of “the community’s pastor” and “the city’s pastor”, serving as chaplain of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and president of the Brenham Police Department’s Chaplain Program.

Light refreshments will be offered at the book signing.  Anyone with questions can call 979-277-8783 for more information.
