FLOATS AND FLICKS TONIGHT

  

With the last day of school coming today  (Friday) Summertime is upon us and so is one of the most popular features the Brenham Parks and Recreation Department has to offer. The Blue Bell Aquatic Center and the leisure pool begins  the summer season with a big splash and the first ‘Floats and Flicks.’  Aquatic Center supervisor Tammy Jaster says the young people can come after school for a swim, and stay for a movie.

You can bring your swimming suits and your floaties out for “Monsters University.”  This is sponsored by Suddenlink.

The first movie at Hohlt Park will be the hit “Frozen” on Thursday June 12^th, sponsored by Germania.

Then on June 26^th the movie will be “The Lego Movie”  This one is sponsored by Barnhill House Toys and Books.

On Thursday July 17^th the movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” sponsored by the Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative.

The last movie will be at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center on August 7^th. “Despicable Me-2” is the feature and Premier Metal Buyers are the sponsors.

All the movies will begin about ten minutes after sunset.
