ANDERSON WOMAN SENTENCED FOR “PLANTING” GUN

A Grimes County woman has been sentenced to three years in prison for putting her boyfriend's gun in his son's backpack to get the child in trouble at school.
28-year-old Heather Hodges of Anderson is being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
Hodges was sentenced after she pleaded guilty to the crime that occurred back in 2012.
Investigators say she believed the 13-year-old boy had mistreated her two younger children.
Authorities found the gun in the boy's backpack at Magnolia Junior High School after an anonymous phone call that was later linked to Hodges.
