An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting at the University Trails Apartments in College Station on Sunday that left two men dead and one injured.

College Station Police say 18-year-old Larry Kent Bonner Jr, of Teague, is facing four counts of aggravated robbery in relation to the incident. He is also being investigated for armed robberies that happened 90 minutes prior to the shooting in a nearby apartment complex.

The first alleged crimes took place around 12:30 a.m. at Parkway Place Apartments. According to police, four men knocked on the apartment door and demanded drugs and money. When the residents said they had did not have drugs or money, the four men took video games and a hover board. One resident of the apartment was allegedly hit in the head with a gun during the incident.

Police say that Larry Kent Bonner Jr. is believed to have accompanied Brysen Jamal Rhodes to University Trails Apartments around 2 a.m. Authorities say the two intended to rob Jack Lopez of his drugs.

Lopez and his roommate allegedly met Bonner and Rhodes, and an argument ensued. Gunshots were fired and Lopez and Rhodes were killed. Police believe it was at this time that Bonner fled the scene.

Bonner was arrested on Tuesday by Texas Rangers and US Marshals in McKinney. Bonner was booked in the Collin County Jail as of Tuesday night with a bond set at $800,000.
