BISD BOARD TO CONSIDER EXTENDING DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES CONTRACT

The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will consider extending the Durham School Services contract one year during their meeting this evening (Monday) as well as bid renewals for Child Nutrition Products.

Also up for consideration are the Firms for Master Services agreement, an off campus physical activities request, and a junior high laptop refresh.

Monetary donations to the district are expected to be accepted from Run for the Youth of Washington County, Brenham Rotary Club, Brenham Optimist club, and an anonymous donation for equipment and tools. The board will also receive an update on the 2016 STAAR/EOC test before going into executive session to discuss personnel.

Trustees will give recognition to the BISD teacher of the year as well as BHS Valedictorian and Salutatorian, and the “You Make a Difference” award recipients.

The Brenham ISD Board of Trustees will meet this evening (Monday), at 6:00pm in the lecture rooms of the high school.

  1. I don’t understand why bisd uses durham? There are so many problems and they cut so many corners with safety and maintenance.
It’s has to be cheaper and more manageable if bisd owned and operated their own buses.
Like at hisd it càn be done.
