BLINN COLLEGE CHOIR TO PRESENT “SOUNDS OF THE SEASON BAROQUE AND BEYOND”
The Blinn College Choir will conduct a free concert, titled “Sounds of the Season: Baroque and Beyond,” will begin at 7 p.m. this Thursday, December 3rd at Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Brenham. Both choirs will perform classic holiday tunes separately before combining to perform Antonio Vivaldi’s “Magnificat” and other Christmas selections.
Between the two choirs, more than 30 students will perform songs ranging from “O Holy Night” to “A Nigerian Christmas Carol” and “Angels We Have Heard on High.”
Dr. Paulo Gomes, Choir Director and Conductor, tells a little bit about what will be performed during the concert.
