BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH MARIJUANA POSSESSION
A Brenham man faces a marijuana possession charge after a traffic stop Monday night.
Cpl. Lance Weiss pulled a car driven by 40-year Dennis Jerome Watson over around 8:00 pm at the 700 block of Seelhorst for displaying an obscured license plate.
During the stop, Weiss said he could smell marijuana coming from the car,
Weiss says he found a bag of marijuana in Watson’s pocket and placed him under arrest.
Watson is charged with possession of marijuana under 2 oz.
