BRENHAM POLICE FILE RESISTING ARREST CHARGES

Two men are in custody after separate charges of resisting arrest.

35-year old Jason Dewayne Randle of Chappell Hill was arrested just after 8:00, Thursday night after he’d allegedly run from a Blinn officer earlier in the evening.

Randle was located by Brenham Police in the 1000 block of West Main, but reportedly continued to flee officers.  He eventually was caught on West Alamo.

Authorities say it took several officers to detain Randle, who was charged with Evading Arrest and Resisting Arrest.

Just after 10:30 p.m., 48-year old Glenn Earl Holmes of Bellville was stopped by Brenham Police in the 1000 block of Highway 290 West on a reckless driver report.

Sgt. Jason Derrick reports that Holmes failed a field sobriety test, then forcibly resisted an attempt to serve a warrant to draw blood.

Holmes is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Resisting Arrest.
