BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR STAAR UPDATE
An update on the 2016 Spring STAAR/EOC testing will be presented Monday night at the Brenham school board meeting.
The test results were originally set to be released over a month ago, but due to ongoing reporting issues with Educational Testing Services, the Texas Education Agency has delayed their release.
Also at Monday’s meeting, the BISD trustees will designate a delegate and alternate to the 2016 TASA/TASB Assembly in Houston in September.
The board will also consider an assistant principal for the PRIDE Academy/Alternative Education Program.
The board is also expected to accept a donation from the Brenham Elks Lodge.
The BISD Board of Trustees meets Monday night at 6:00 in the lecture rooms at Brenham High School.
