BRENHAM TEEN ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGE
A Brenham teen faces a marijuana charge after his arrest, Friday night.
Just before 11:30 p.m., Officer Terrence Johnson checked on a vehicle with its hood up in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea St.
When he made contact with the driver, a 16-year-old male, he says he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.
The driver handed Johnson drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.
During a search of both the driver and the vehicle, more marijuana was found.
The passenger was released and sent home.
The 16-year old was detained and released to his parents on the approval of Juvenile Probation.
