After three years of watching from the sidelines, Brenham’s Michael Brinkmeyer was back on the road in this year’s version of the MS150 bike ride.
For years Brinkmeyer had been a participant in the massive fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—but after two years of knee surgeries and a year of medication issues—he was finally able to ride and finish this year’s event.
Brinkmeyer says it was gratifying to finally get back on the road…
Brinkmeyer has a special motivation to raise funds for MS research—his daughter Candace has multiple sclerosis.
He says a recent change in his daughter’s treatment lends his efforts even more importance…
Brinkmeyer continues his fund-raising efforts. Donations may be made at: main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/Michael_Brinkmeyer, or you may mail a check to Michael Brinkmeyer, 820 Neumann Rd., Brenham, 77833.
Brinkmeyer adds that he will once again be hosting his Putt2Cure Mini Golf fundraiser, Wednesday June 4th at Horseshoe Junction.
