CUBETTES VICTORIOUS FRIDAY NIGHT

The Brenham Cubette softball team notched another win on Friday night, defeating Magnolia West 7-2. The win moves the Cubettes into sole possession of second place in District 20-5A with a record of 6-2, 13-8 on the season. Meg Morris was in the circle last night, she threw a complete game, striking out 10 and only giving up 3 hits. At the plate the Cubettes were led by Kelly Jurden going 2-3 with an RBI, Shae Harris went 2-3 with a double, 1 RBI and 2 Runs scored, and Annie Cangelosi who went 2-4 with a Run scored. Up next for the Cubettes, they will host Waller at Alumni Field on Tuesday night. First pitch set for 7:00p.
