DONUTS AND BLESSINGS MARKS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Several Washington County Ministerial Association Churches marked the first day of school for Brenham ISD and Burton ISD by hosting a Donuts and Blessings greeting session this morning (Monday).
Students, parents, teachers, and administrators were welcomed at each Brenham and Burton ISD school with a donut holes. Over 5,500 Max Donuts treats were handed out to attendees.
Participating churches included: Brenham Bible Church, Brenham Presbyterian, Calvary Baptist, Cornerstone Baptist, Covenant Praise Center, Faith Mission, First United Methodist, Mission Brenham, New Beginnings Life Ministries, Redeemer Brenham, Salem Lutheran, St. John AMEC, St. Mary's Catholic, and St. Peter's Episcopal.
The Washington County Ministerial Association meets at noon on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Cannery Kitchen. It’s located at 314 E. Alamo St. Brenham. For more information contact Rev. Randy Wells at 979.830.1488.
A very nice gesture to the first day back at school. Being Burton had a gentleman from the state verifying cafeteria rules he was not so happy about it!!
Maybe he needed a little Jesus in his heart!!!!
