ELECTION DAY IS HERE

  

Election day is Saturday for the Brenham School Board, Brenham Mayor, Blinn Board of Trustees and Burton School Board.

There is one contested race on the Brenham School Board, Carey Council is challenging incumbent Susan Jenkins, for her Position 3 post.

Mark Schneider, Kelvin Raven and Dr. Michael Altman are running unopposed for three spots on the board.

In the Brenham City election, Mayor Milton Tate is running for re-election, facing the challenge of local chiropractor Dr. Gary Gabriel.

Council members Danny Goss and Weldon Williams are running unopposed.

On the Blinn College Board, Position 1 incumbent Richard Powell will face challenger David Reynolds.  Debbie Goss and Stacy Holle Aschenbeck are running for Position 4, being vacated by Leon Toubin.

Teddy Boehm is running unopposed for reelection to Position 3.

For the Burton School Board, two at-large positions are on the ballot.  Board President Marcus Broesche and Vice-president Terri Roberts Smith are running for re-election.  Ande “Arch” Bostain and Brian Jaeger are also running for those two posts.
