ENTERTAINMENT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR ANNOUNCED
The entertainment lineup has been released for this fall’s Washington County Fair.
The fair will kick off Saturday, September 10th, beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Abigail Taylor, Old Southern Moonshine Revival and headliner, Kevin Fowler.
Tuesday night, September 13th is Tejano Night, with DJ Mendoza, Groupo Ondo, Fito Oliveras.
Wednesday night the 14th is Faith and Family Night and will open with Tedashii at 7:30, followed by Colton Dixon.
Thursday the 15th will feature Texas music artist Jake Hooker.
On Friday the 16th, Kaitlin Butts will open for popular Texas singer/songwriter Aaron Watson.
On the final night of the fair, Saturday the 17th, The Dujka (Doy-ka) Brothers will open at 5:00 p.m., followed by Prophets and Outlaws and headliners The Eli Young Band.

Not everyone goes to the fair for the entertainment. There are the exhibits, show animals, carnival, food, rodeo, and a lot more. A working man with a wife and school age kids cannot afford to go and enjoy the fair because of what it cost to just get thru the gate. What about putting these over paid noise makers in a sectioned off part of the fairground and make the people that WANT to see them pay the bill, and reduce admission at gate so everyone can afford to go and enjoy themselves. Remember the good old days??
I don’t know if you are on a committee or not, but that is an AWESOME idea!! I only go to the ‘fair’ for the rodeo and show animals/auction. I don’t give two screws what singer is playing. Having a separate venue/admission for the entertainment has my vote.
I want Willi, Waylon, Merle, Loretta, Lefty, Hank Sr…….
Meanwhile, Fayette County has Charley Pride, Gary Allen, and The Triumphs with special guests, B J Thomas and Roy Head.

Really? Do you realize what it would cost to get Luke Bryan to the WCF? I wonder how much we would have to pay for a ticket then?
If Kevin Fowler was there every night, we would go every night.
Finally!! Quality entertainment!! I might actually get a season pass this year!!
