FORMER PRESIDENT BUSH REMAINS HOSPITALIZED

Former President George H.W. Bush will remain in a Houston hospital Christmas morning, after being taken there for experiencing a shortness of breath.

Spokesman Jim McGrath said in an email Wednesday evening that Bush had a "good day" and his prognosis "remains positive."

The 90-year-old Bush had been taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital as a precaution on Tuesday evening.

Bush spent Christmas 2012 in intensive care at the same hospital while being treated for a bronchitis-related cough and other issues. He was discharged in January 2013, after nearly two months in the hospital.

There’s no word yet if the former President will get to go home later today.
