HEMPSTEAD WOMAN ARRESTED FOR D.W.I. IN BRENHAM
A Hempstead woman faces a DWI charge in Brenham.
Wednesday night around 9:30, Officer Richelle Taylor and Cpl. Ashley Burns responded to a call in the 300 block of West Main St. to a welfare concern.
Upon arrival, they found 61-year old, Cynthia Marie Schmid of Hempstead.
According to police, further investigation revealed Schmid to be intoxicated. She was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
